The Windows Phone community are working hard to develop the next Killer app which will pull users from different platforms to ours. Apps like Instagram, Vine and Flipboard are the reason why Apple iPhones are still popular. Every amazing ideas for apps are first showcased on iOS platform, then on Android and at last on Windows Phones.

 

Recently WP platform is improving its market value for the developers to notice. What I mean is Windows Phone market share is growing at a promising rate in European markets like UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. It is always overshadowing iOS marketshare in a couple of countries which is exciting news.

 

Microsoft and Nokia’s joint investment program AppCampus is giving new developers the tools to make amazing apps for the platform. AppCampus also provides training in design and usability, mobile technology and marketing support. One such App team working on a stunning app is called Project Tripod

 

So, what is Project Tripod? The startup which took two months to go from concept to product on a Windows Phone app that lets users align multiple photographs, creating the effect they were taken using a tripod. Its a app in development which allows you to use your device to take a snapshot of the same person, place or object over an undetermined length of time to produce creations such as a time-lapse or blend.

The team is super happy that they managed to get Patent application filed for the app idea. They even finalized designs and even started Alpha testing phase of the app. The beta testing of the app will be starting in another five weeks.
