The developer of the app has informed us about the details of the upcoming update.Read it below:
Christopher Blackman, the developer of the app said that "I’ll be submitting an update soon to add complete support for background audio, so you can listen to music/podcasts from YouTube while using other apps, and pause it using the regular Windows Phone audio controls. This feature is kind of available right now, but it doesn’t have the ability to pause the audio while it’s playing in the background. The update will also include the ability to pin YouTube channels to the start screen."
According to him the new update will add an option to pause the audio while it's playing in the background. Many users were complaining about the inability of the app to pause audio. It's great to see the developer pushing updates according to customer feedback. The developer also told us that there will be some bug fixes as usual. We too don't know the exact date of update. But we will post it, as soon as it is available.
The app is available at Windows Phone Store for $0.99. A trial version is also available for download. Please note that the trial version limits to watch only 1 hour of video in every 3 hours. After that you will have to wait for 10 minutes to continue watching.
