Popular leakster evleaks(@evleaks) has tweeted that Nokia Sirius is going to be launched alongside with Bandit(Lumia 1520) next month. If the news is true, both the devices will be announced on October 22nd as teased by Nokia before. We cannot fully trust the source,but all the past leaks by evleaks were true.See the tweet from him below:
Nokia Sirius is a Windows RT tablet by Nokia, which looks like a giant Lumia. Last month a image of tablet suspecting to be Nokia Sirius was leaked. The 10.1 inch tablet will be running at full HD resolution and will sport 2 cameras, 6MP and 2MP. Different color variants of the tablet will be available for a more personalized experience. The device is assuming to be powered by Snapdragon's 800 CPU and will have 2GB of RAM. The device is expected to have a 10 hour battery backup along with LTE connectivity.Physical ports are also present,which include microSD (extending the 32GB internal storage), Micro-HDMI and Micro-USB support. We can also expect a external keyboard just like Microsoft's Surface tablets have.
Recently we had reports that Microsoft is pushing Nokia to cancel the Sirius tablet as they think that it will potentially affect Microsoft's Surface tablets. It seems that confusion is going on everywhere. We need to wait for an official announcement from Nokia or Microsoft to confirm the validity of the information. Let's hope that the news is true, so that we get double gift's on October 22nd. We will update the post as soon as we get more information.
