The latest survey conducted by Nielsen over the last 3 months reveals that Blackberry is leading Windows Phone by 1%. Blackberry and Windows Phone has 3% and 2% of the smartphone OS market share in US respectively.Android remains the leading mobile operating system by holding a share of 53% and is folowed by iOS which holds a share of 40%.
The survey shows that Microsoft should really work hard to improve the smartphone share in US. Though Windows Phone has surpassed Blackberry is several other markets, US is a major market and it makes a big difference.
