Dual-SIM Windows Phones from Nokia and HTC on their way

There have been many rumors and talks about a Dual-SIM Windows Phone, including a dual-SIM variant of the popular Nokia Lumia 720 (sadly nothing concrete was established about that mystery device, and evLeaks and other leaksters couldn't back this rumor up), but if reports from China are assumed to be correct, both Nokia and HTC have a dual-SIM Windows Phone in the works.

According to the report, the new models will be dual-SIM, dual standby. That means that both SIM cards are on standby when neither are in use. But once one SIM becomes active, the second one is inactive.

Although there have been no leaks or specs spilled about the two devices, Nokia might release it on October 22 in their mega event scheduled at Abu Dhabi.

There has been no word on HTC's device, though some sources say it is basically a HTC One with a Windows Phone dual-booted with Android and Dual-SIM ( If this ever turned out to be true, then HTC has a winner in their hands). Expect this phone from HTC in early 2014, atleast.
